ICM Opens a New Location
April 2009
ICM's newest location opened in April, 2009.  ICM is the proud operator of a brand new asphalt facility operating out of Jessup, MD. The Jessup plant was built on a greenfield site and will be ICM's largest plant. The facility is an Aztec Double-Barrel plant that can produce 500 tn/hour.  The Jessup plant expands our footprint to central Maryland and allows us to provide higher levels of service to more jobs across a larger region.  Jessup will service the region between Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C.

ICM services Pennsylvania Turnpike Widening
November 2008
ICM has played an integral role in the major reconstruction of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. ICM supplied the materials and the trucking to the project at a record pace. The crews were able to maintain high levels of production due to the service received from ICM. Trucks were loaded at Talmage, Paradise, and Devault quarries daily. On the average day, ICM supplied 45 trucks for this project alone. ICM also delivered asphalt from the Coatesville and Devault plants. ICM delivered over 750,000 tons of aggregate and over 340,000 tons of asphalt to the site over the duration of the project. This project utilized the full capabilities of the ICM planning & Scheduling team as well as the dispatch group in order to keep the contractor productive and efficient. The Pennsylvania Turnpike project was completed ahead of schedule and three lanes of traffic in both directions openned on time thanks to the services provided by Independence Construction Materials.
