Entry Level & College Graduate:
There are many ways for enthusiastic individuals to break into the materials industry. Recent college graduates have a unique opportunity to do so with our Career Track Program. Our Career Track program provides recent graduates in Logistics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Mining Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting with a broad overview of our company and a challenging management development opportunity. As a Career Track Partner, your career development is accelerated through varied strategic rotations in multiple assignments throughout our organization, such as: mining & materials operations, asphalt operations, Quality Control/Quality Assurance, Safety Operations, Transportation, Sales/Marketing, Finance, and Administration. Throughout the program you are supported through mentorships, on the job experiences, courses within in our Continuous Learning Center and our Career Track Partner Academies where you can share your experiences with peers. Our Career Track Program will prepare you for leadership positions in various areas of our organization.

Intern/Co-Op:
The Independence Construction Materials Internship & Co-Op Programs provide individuals with industry experience while acquainting them with our organizational culture and work style. These programs provide students the opportunity to apply their academic training to real situations on real jobs.
Our interns and co-ops bring a positive attitude and desire to learn and contribute to our team. We provide them with the challenge of demanding asphalt and aggregate projects where they can apply your academic learning in a real-world environment.
